Recap of CAS’s First Tea Talk for the 2024-2025 Academic Year: Highlights and Insights
On Thursday, October 24, 2024, the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) hosted an inaugural Tea Talk event of the 2024-2025 academic year in room E403 at VinUniversity.
Tea Talk is one of the CAS’s occasional events where students and faculty can freely discuss, share, and address questions and challenges related to their academic and uni-life experiences. The event aimed to provide essential information about majors and upcoming programs while also recognizing students’ contributions to the collective activities of CAS. Notably, CAS’s Tea Talk exemplifies not just an exchange of ideas but also the solidarity and growth of the CAS community, highlighting the unique aspects of liberal education where each member feels understood and heard. Compared to the previous academic year, the scale of this year’s Tea Talk has expanded significantly as a reflection of the vibrant development of the CAS community.

The culinary menu at the event was also carefully prepared by the CAS’s staff with a variety of appealing dishes and beverages. Students mingled freely with faculty while enjoying their meals thanks to the informal setting that dissolves barriers and opens up for genuine listening and engagement.
