Associate Professor Vu Anh Dzung is the Dean of College of Arts and Sciences. Before working at VinUniversity, Dr Dzung Vu was the Founding Standing Vice-Rector of Vietnam Japan University - Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

Prior to his current appointment at VinUniversity, he was a Professor, Director of the Land Change Science and Remote Sensing Lab, and Co-Director of the Center for Archaeology and Remote Sensing, at Colorado State University. He is a member of the US NASA’s Land-Cover and Land-Use Change Program’s Science Team and Co-Director of the Earth Archive NGO. He is known for his work researching land-use and land-cover changes and the drivers of these changes in Southeast Asia.
