About CAS
WELCOME TO THE COLLEGE OF ARTS AND SCIENCES
Originating from the General Education program of VinUni, the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) was established by July 2022 with the goal of offering interdisciplinary programs in the fields of arts and sciences.
By August 2023, CAS started developing three undergraduate programs: Economics, Psychology, and Multimedia Communications. Validated and endorsed by Cornell University standards, the programs emphasize optimization, connectivity, and flexibility to provide a comprehensive, interdisciplinary education with a solid and interdisciplinary foundation (so called General Liberal Arts philosophy) that prepares students to be competent for knowledge, skills and attitude of 21st centure and for future success.

WHY CAS?

Flexible and multidisciplinary: a “personalized learning experience”
Students have the flexibility to choose up to 20 credits from the university's list of elective courses.

Throughout their four years, students will receive expert guidance from professors, who will also supervise students as they undertake their own independent study project.

Broad career opportunities with double major/ minors at VinUni
Students can pursue their major alongside a minor or double major with other programs of CAS, e.g., “Communications & Psychology”, “Psychology & Economics”, “Economics & Communications” as well as minors from other colleges.
